Directions to Radcliffe, Warwick Conferences
By Plane: The closest airport is Birmingham Airport. A taxi to Radcliffe from the airport will take about 20 minutes and cost around £30. Alternatively, you can take a direct train to Coventry from Birmingham International station which is located at the airport.
London Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton airports are all connected to Coventry by National Express coach services. Alternatively, you can take the train to Coventry, with a change in central London.
By car: "Radcliffe, Scarman, The Slate - CV4 7SH". This postcode will direct you to Gibbet Hill Road, the main road through the University. Follow signs for Lakeside Village, then you’ll find your venue signposted.
By train: Coventry is the most convenient train station for most visitors. It’s served by trains from London Euston, Birmingham (New Street and International) and Leicester. From Coventry station, it’s easy to get a taxi or bus to Radcliffe.
Canley and Tile Hill train stations are both served by trains from London, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Coventry, Rugby and Northampton. Neither station has a taxi rank, so if you don’t want to walk, book a taxi in advance.
Leamington Spa is served by trains from Birmingham, Coventry, Oxford, Reading and London Marylebone. You can get a bus to us from close to the station.
By bus: There are regular buses to Radcliffe from Coventry and Leamington Spa.
- Coventry: The 11 and 12 bus routes both serve Warwick Conferences. You’ll need to have the right money as the bus drivers don’t give change. Both buses call at the Rail Station Bridge SD stop on Warwick Road - a one-minute walk from Coventry station.
- Leamington Spa: The U1 and U2 buses serve Warwick Conferences. Both services stop at Parish Church Stand B - a seven-minute walk from Leamington Spa station
Hotel Accommodation
ACM NanoCom Partner Hotel: The conference is holding a block of rooms for attendees at the Ibis Coventry Centre Hotel, which is near the centre of Coventry and close to frequent bus service to the venue. The rooms are available at a discounted rate of £95/night for bed and breakfast (single). This discounted rate is guaranteed until August 29, 2023, then it is subject to room availability.

Coventry Cathedral
Coventry Cathedral is a place where splendid medieval history meets modern architecture to stunning and poignant effect. The original Cathedral of St Michael was built between the late 14th and 15th centuries and was destroyed in the 1940 blitz on Coventry. It’s best to see the Ruins first (ideally entering from Cuckoo Lane) and only then to explore the New Cathedral. Also, climb 180 steps of the St Michael’s Tower for the best view in Coventry!
